Responsibilities
- Accurately estimate costs for plumbing projects based on materials, labor, and other expenses
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and provide accurate estimates
- Communicate with contractors to schedule work and ensure timely completion of projects
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise during construction
- Review project documentation to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems and construction processes in both residential and commercial scopes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Trade certificate in Plumbing, HVAC, and/or Gas fitting is preferred
- Knowledge of plumbing materials, equipment, and techniques
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Problem-solving skills to address issues that may arise during construction
- Strong analytical skills to estimate project costs accurately
- A desire for continuous improvement for self and the organization
